“Ah-ha ha ha! I finally found you!” Windy said popping out of the network in front of a very familiar-looking human. The wind ignis hand an inking, ever since the ignis had been revived. That maybe... just maybe! And look he was right! It wasn’t a foolish sense to ignore! It had taken hours upon hours to track him down, so many that Windy lost count-- or rather stopped caring enough to count.

“I can’t believe it! You’re alive-- you’re alive!” Windy said with a cheeky snap of his fingers. 

“I never thought I’d see you again, nope, nope, nope! But expect the unexpected I suppose! You remember me, don’t you?”

Despite Windy’s upbeat demeanor, he was hiding his nervousness behind them. What was he supposed to even say to this kid? ‘Sorry’ wouldn’t exactly cover it... but after everything, Windy felt he should at least meet him.

Link Vrains just seemed to expand further and further every time Earth left the Cyberse World. Was it only because of the revamp it received after the destruction of the first? The ignis did not know. But it certainly kept leading him to strange places. Like this.

Earth hesitantly poked his head out of some device. This appeared to be the human world. And then he made awkward eye contact with a human he did not recognize. Earth simply blinked before narrowing his eyes, performing a scan on everything he saw. This didn’t appear to be SOL Tech... If it was Earth would have vanished in a nanosecond. He was not in danger-- yet.

Flame sighed. Aqua had forced him away from the Cyberse World Two after a while. Said he was spending too much time checking the barriers and cloaking programs of the world. The water ignis had stated it was somehow starting to make her anxious as well. Well, now he had nothing to do. Because he could no longer make any monsters he idly made little wisps of fire as he floated along that burned out within moments

Never in a thousand years would he have expected to run into a familiar face. But it was far too late to back out now that they’ve spotted each other. “You... what are you doing here?”

Just... a little more and his perfect neat stack of stones would be done. Carefully Earth formed the final flat rock on the top of the tower, but right as he did he sensed something. A presence. Whirling around, his hand knocked over the stack sending them flying.

There was no hiding the earth ignis’s surprise as he came face to face with someone all too familiar. A human he never thought he’d see again. “You’re...” Wait... memories of what the others had told him what happened surfaced to the forefront. This human was also a Knight of Hanoi. Earth braced himself to flee into the network in a moment.

“I did not think I would ever see you again.” Earth spoke cautiously.

Well then. While this was certainly similar to a duel disk, this definitely was not one. Which raised the question. Why did the data storm lead to such a weird outlet in the human world!? Popping out of the strange metal, Windy was faced with--

Oh no. Oh nonononono--

“Wait a second, didn’t I kill you-- wait wait wait, no no that’s stupid. You don’t look the same as my origin at all now that I’ve got a better look at you. Ha, sorry you humans tend to look very similar. Noting personal, promise promise!” The A.I. said with a shrug.

“Oh nonno-- wait you aren’t some family to my origin or something are you? Maybe that would explain how the Network led to you... But I find that hard to believe.” Windy gave the tech he was standing on a tap with his foot. “This isn’t even a duel disk after all. Perhaps the Network has just extended even further than before huh?”

Despite his talkative personality, it was clear that either the ignis spoke faster then he would compute or simply liked to hear himself talk for the heck of it.

Uh... Earth wasn’t quite sure where he expected the little shortcut in the network to take him, but it had seemed like an interesting thing to do at the time. He may be socially awkward, but that didn’t mean he was stuffy and without any sense of adventure!

Though... this was a Duel Disk right? Oh. Ai had been right. They were quite comfortable. But more importantly... who’s disk was this!? 

In trying to find out, the Earth ignis started poking around in the device’s code. Hopefully, they weren’t in the middle of a duel and he was being subtle enough that whoever it belonged to wouldn’t notice!

This couldn’t be right. Something must be malfunctioning. “Ai? is that you?” Aqua asked hesitantly stepping out from her hiding spot as she traversed through Link Vrains. The dark ignis had been the only one missing when the rest of the ignis revived. All of them sans Lightning had hoped that somehow the one that had outlived them all was still out there. Either with his human partner or on his own out in the network. Of course, Lightning had started spitting that he was most certainly dead, but they had all ignored the light ignis.

He may look different, but this was most certainly Ai-- right? Something about the way the avatar carried himself seemed familiar. At least she very much hoped so, no matter how irritating he could be before. “You’re alive-- I can’t believe you’re alive!”

Aqua lighted down in the barren plain of Link Vrains. Earth had been here, she could tell. His simple small stacked stones may look like some passerby got bored and made some little towers before moving on, but for her, she could spot his craftsmanship easily. After all, despite looking simply stacked they were actually melded and sturdy. Well, it only seemed right that she should add onto his work. This was something the two of them whenever they were outside of World Two. Finding the empty spaces of the network and bringing a little character to them.

Focusing, Aqua sprouted a small rock spring in a random location. An elegant piece, like a fountain one would find in a garden. This is all she would do, for now, it would be best to let the data around it slowly change with the small trickle of water it provided. Not to mention interesting! Link Vrains could emulate life pretty well, but Aqua marked this spot in her databanks for later. She’d come back to it to check on it, and maybe even add some new things.

Although she was startled by the sound-- there hadn’t been anyone here just a moment ago, but perhaps she got too invested in the earth ignis’s work! She prepared to blink to another location--
